Chalkie (Argemone Mont Sorrel) was bred in March 2008, by ourselves, from her mother Jactoria Lady Nightshade (POPPY) and sired by a wonderful stud, Bear Right at Barrenger, of the renowned Barrenger Bassets.
Chalky has matured into a lovely bitch with a fine head, good bone and an excellent temperament. one of her sisters has already achieved her Junior Warrant and has qualified for Crufts entry.
We have selected as her stud dog a super fellow who has himself qualified for CRUFTS this year, has already a proven record of success with his progeny. This marvellous dog is called 'Harvey' (Barrenger Laxton’s Fortune at Hollysend)
We are an established Kennel Club Accredited Basset Hound breeder, based in Somerset and Mum and her puppies can always be viewed at our family home.
